Need help finding a hotel outside Philly

My daughter graduates from Philadelphia University on Henry Ave. 8/10. Normally we would visit her driving from Long Island, however we will be going to Philly from South Carolina. I am trying to figure out where we can stay for the night before the graduation. I do not want to be in Center City. I want convenience to her school. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would bid on Priceline and choose 3 & 4 star hotels only.

Look for something in the King of Prussia area. Quick drive down the expressway to Henry Ave, and plenty to do in the area. (Malls, restaurants, Valley Forge Park, etc)

There are two Hilton hotels on City Avenue you may want to look into. They are both located less than 3 miles from Philadelphia University.

The closest to Philadelphia University would be City Ave as Debbie118 suggested. You could also look in Chestnut Hill or Plymouth Meeting; they are closer than King of Prussia. Conshohocken is also close by.

Thanks for the suggestions. We won't be arriving until late evening and the graduation is the next day. Then we head back to Long Island.

can stay in Mount Laurel NJ. numerous hotels right off Turnpike/95 and 295.

There are Hiltons, Marriotts, Aloft, Wyndham, Doubletree....
