Hi Techies,
I need a software recommendation.
I made a slide show for my older daughter's high school class 3 years ago on Powerpoint and created a 30 minute compilation of music on a CD. But I could not figure out how to integrate the music CD on or into the Powerpoint and then burn the whole show to a DVD to give to each family.
Now my younger daughter is graduating and I want to create a show for her class.
I bought software Easy Media Creator Suite 9 which I'm trying out and may send back if I can't figure an easier way to create each slide. (they don't send directions, but their tech support was free and helpful to get me started but it's a bit clunky.)
In the show I create a slide for each graduate with 3 photos on it. . . their senior photo, baby photo and another candid. With Powerpoint I can get them to fade onto the screen one at a time and at the end of 5 seconds they are all three there before the slide moves to the next student. Also I put their full name on the slide.
Then there are lots of other photos in the show, but these 75 of the class are the trickiest.
HELP, what software will do what I want, i.e. overlay photos on one slide so all three show up, transition with a soft fading effect, add my 30 minute soundtrack and burn to a DVD?

It just refuses to whip the cream on my mocha latte. Darn it. :ignore: Well, actually I don't have it but I wanted to bump it up because I hope someone does!!
