Need Good Timeshare Promotion for Disney Family Trip (We're Staying at a Marriott)

Ok, so a family has learned that they should not take their planned cruise to Mexico the end of this month because the wife is pregnant. The doctor advised them to cancel. They now want to take the 3 children to Disney, which I have booked a Marriott getaway. Since the Disney tickets are so high, I'm thinking that maybe they can do a timeshare promotion, which I cannot stand to do, but will take the plunge only to get a discount. I've been to Disney several times when my daughter was young. This will be the children's first visit to Orlando (ages: 2, 4, 6).

Are there any timeshare promotions other than Westgate that we can check? They have the worse reputation. I have been to many over the last 18 years.
Please advise. We leave October 30.

Even with a timeshare presentation, you're unlikely to get more than a one day pass or two. Check out Orlando Fun Tickets, MouseSavers, or even Costco to get modest price reductions.

Thanks for the posting. I may just go to AAA in Orlando and get their tiny discount. This is what we did last year for Universal.

2 yr old does not need a ticket. make sure that they buy just a base ticket, no water parks and no park hopper, which adds extra cost. After 3 days, each additional day is only about $10 more. They can add extra days (or even park hppoer) once they are there, if they haven't fully used up their ticket, but they will not get a refund for unused days. For ex., if they get a 4 day ticket, they can upgrade on day 3 or even day 4, while still inside the park at guest services. They cannot add an extra day on day 5. Plan to spend about $300 for a 4 day pass. There is a discounted military ticket, if they qualify. Seaworld is much cheaper. An annual pass is around $70.

I purchased a 6 day adult park hopper ticket which came to > $80/ ticket savings compared to gate price. I will be using this ticket to bridge to AP for my granddaughter. There are instructions in the thread on how to get to purchase just the Disney ticket without flights or vacation package. I got my confirmation via email this morning with the barcode they will scan to get my ticket. I wouldn't necessarily get a park hopper for a regular trip but this was the ticket that gave me the largest discount.
