That was my high school in the story!
They got the year the poor girl was killed wrong. I graduated in 1975 and she was killed while I was a student. I recall she was younger than me , so she would have graduated in the class of 1977.

I remember my English teacher informing us of the girl's death, in her classroom on the 2nd floor of the building. The classroom was very close to the restroom where she was found. Very few of us girls used that restroom on a regular basis as it was in a very quiet, unfrequented part of the building.

Just weird to come across this story after all these years. I'm glad the detectives finally got her killer.
