A Few Questions,

1) Is it hard to get a place at Harborside in February (2010)?
2) Do you have to get the place for a week, not sure if we all can get off work for full week. (Star Options)
3) What would you recommend for 3 couples?
4) Do they have a lot of hidden fees I am reading about from other places?

As an alternative, would anyone stay or has stayed at Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort?

A Few Questions,

1) Is it hard to get a place at Harborside in February (2010)?

Yes - at this point it is virtually impossible. To have any hope of getting an exchange, you needed to call at exactly 8 mos. out at 8:59 a.m. ET. Harborside is the 2nd most difficult exchange in the Starwood system. (8 Mos. is when the window opens to request a Staroptions exchange.)

2) Do you have to get the place for a week, not sure if we all can get off work for full week. (Star Options)

You can only reserve less than a week at 90 days out - very unlikely to be anything available at that late date.

3) What would you recommend for 3 couples?

At this point, I would look into renting 3 1-bdm. units. You could rent your Hawaii TS to cover your cost (won't cover the cost of 3 units, though.)

4) Do they have a lot of hidden fees I am reading about from other places?

Here is a current post from another owner who reports that Harborside is booked solid through March and beyond, at this point.
