Staying in Naples on an upcoming trip to Florida. Which do you prefer between the two Ritz Carltons there? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

Do you know about the Facebook group “Marriott Bonvoy Insiders”?
Lots of info on hotels there- you can search and also post once your membership is approved.

I have only stayed in the Naples Tiburon location, and quite honestly I chose it because of having to use less Bonvoy points for my stay. I like my luxury on the cheap!

It was very quiet, good pools, nice rooms and excellent service (as you would expect), but based on the photos alone I would have probably picked the Naples property. If I intended to play golf then Tiburon would have been a good fit.

We stayed at Crystal Shore 4 nights this past August followed by 3 nights at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburon. This has a golf course. The other resort is The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. This is on the beach. No matter which one you stay at, they offer transportation back and forth allowing you to use the facilities. I think it was a 15 minute ride leaving every hour on the hour. I liked the layout of the Tiburon better. It also has a water park for kids. The pools at the beach location was better and of course you have the beach. We traveled to the beach location one day and we used all the facilities. We were treated no different than guests that stayed there. We ate at the restaurant at the beach location and charged it to the room. I did get a sense that the beach location catered to a wealthier cliental but based on the cars in the lot, you are not slumming at Tiburon,.

I will be honest, I used reward points and because it was discounted it cost 120K points from Thursday to Sunday. It was less than a Courtyard. It was over 200,000 points without it and the beach location was more than 200,000.

Personally, if i was to go again and had to pay, my choice would have been the same. We did running around and ate outside for most meals except the lunch at the beach location. If beach and pool is an everyday occurrence and the cost difference is worth it, stay on the beach.

Thanks for the info. I looked for the Facebook group and could not find one under that name. Is that the exact name?

If I had enough points -- because I don't play golf -- I'd choose Beach for sure.

Thanks everyone! We have two 85,000 point rewards to use and are looking for a quiet place. The weekend we are looking at, points for the beach Ritz are 94,000 and 98,000. Most of time it is 122,000. We can top the certificates off with points. I know the golf Ritz is less points. Was kind of thinking of which one to go to. The certificate will cover the golf one without extra points. Going late January.

Twice when I have been at the Ritz Carlton Naples on the beach I was plagued by no-see-ums. They are annoying. However, I googled no-see-ums and you should be fine in January. According to the internet they appear most in the summer months around that area.

I live here in Naples. The Beach Ritz just reopened in July after being closed since Hurricane Ian. If the points were close there is no question I would stay at the beach resort. Beautiful views, remodeled rooms and if you want to splurge a new tower for club rooms. Tiburon has a beautiful golf course and they have very good Ritz Service. IMHO, there is nothing like waking up to a beautiful Gulf view, taking a walk on the beach and having breakfast outside. We haven't had a lot of no-see-ums recently, it's much worse in the Carolinas. We have also been trying to support the large number of staff that were laid off during the two years. Enjoy your stay down here, lots to do, should be beautiful weather!
