We stayed at Crystal Shore 4 nights this past August followed by 3 nights at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburon. This has a golf course. The other resort is The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. This is on the beach. No matter which one you stay at, they offer transportation back and forth allowing you to use the facilities. I think it was a 15 minute ride leaving every hour on the hour. I liked the layout of the Tiburon better. It also has a water park for kids. The pools at the beach location was better and of course you have the beach. We traveled to the beach location one day and we used all the facilities. We were treated no different than guests that stayed there. We ate at the restaurant at the beach location and charged it to the room. I did get a sense that the beach location catered to a wealthier cliental but based on the cars in the lot, you are not slumming at Tiburon,.
I will be honest, I used reward points and because it was discounted it cost 120K points from Thursday to Sunday. It was less than a Courtyard. It was over 200,000 points without it and the beach location was more than 200,000.
Personally, if i was to go again and had to pay, my choice would have been the same. We did running around and ate outside for most meals except the lunch at the beach location. If beach and pool is an everyday occurrence and the cost difference is worth it, stay on the beach.
