Nanea New Years week - event week?

I know the north and south properties sold the last two weeks of the year as event weeks. Since Nanea is points based, I was assuming those weeks were not separate event weeks. Does anyone know? I was actually curious about spending a few nights there using Marriott destination points since my WKORV ownership has always blocked me from staying that week. I realize it is very expensive but so are hotel rooms. I have been able to see nights in Hawaii at the Marriott properties that week but not Nanea.
