My address changed in the HGVC profile! Part 2

HGVC must have misplaced their Hawaiian coconuts!
First a glitch changed my address from California to Saudi Arabia.
After a log-in and manually updating the address again, all is good.

UNTIL I see a $194 club due fee for 2016! :eek: :ponder:

After a 10 minute call with customer service it was determined that the glitch also triggered this fee request since I am now an international member. :hysterical:

Be careful, right now, if you see club dues requests. The MF statements are several months away from being send out and I would expect no invoices at this very moment...

Nope, but they did indeed asked if I moved over there... :eek:

Interesting concept, although: If one would move to a foreign country they would charge twice for the annual membership dues ($150 for domestic plus $194 for out of country) in the year in which the move happens.

Nice business model! Render no services yet charge the customer twice... :ignore:
