We just received a phone call from an outfit called MWS asking questions about Wyndham and possible fraudulent sales practices by it's sales people and a possible lawsuit to see if we qualify for the lawsuit. I was just wondering if anyone else had been contacted by this outfit and if it was legit, or yet another scam...
Thanks!

As in more scam calls ?
or more Wyndham " fraud" sales practises .?

It was more scam calls since that's what the OP was asking about.

The OP can easily avoid fraudulent sales practices. Phone calls are harder to avoid.

There are a number of opportunistic lawyers out there who are constantly trolling the internet collecting names for a so-called class action lawsuit against timeshare managements/developers.

Even if it is completely Legit, you would be throwing your money away because:

1. Wyndham has more and better lawyers than some lawyer who has nothing better to do than troll the internet.

2. Even if you won a class action lawsuit, the lawyer would get the big bucks and you would get a few bucks.

There is also a good chance that this is jut an upfront fee company who is going to collect a high fee from you for a bogus lawsuit, when really all they are going to do is send a letter to Wyndham on your behalf, or worse, deed your timeshare to bogus LLC and abandon it.
