Here are a few ideas to help you combat those pesky sales/marketing calls to your villa while your on vacation.
1. Unplug your phones from the wall sockets and forget about calls or;
2. Press the Messages button and then select Option 8 for Mailbox setup.
3. Press Option 1 to Record your personal greeting to inform Sales/Marketing callers that you are NOT interested in attending any tours/presentations while you are on vacation.
4. Make a pre-recorded message prior to your arrival on your cell phone and then just play it back to record it as your personal greeting.
4. Press Option 3 to change your voicemail password so that your significant other can't retrieve any invitations from the sales gallery.
5. Connect an auto-answer "Do-NOT-Disturb" timer to the phone's dataport (located on the top right hand corner of the phone) so that you will never have to pickup the phone.
6. You can also lower the ringer of the Teledex phones with the switch in the back of the phone.
For more options of the Meridian Voice Mail system see link: http://www.pbxbook.com/vmail/mm_user.html
Note: MVCI may not have programmed the system consistently across all properties.
