MVC Transfer of ownership question.

I was reading a paperwork that says:
A transfer of ownership for an external resale would require a new HOTA to be prepared.

What does HOTA stands for?

Did the HOTA needed only signatures or was it supposed to be notarized as well?

It may be a different process with purchases for non US resorts / residents?
We just signed and emailed scanned copies of the HOTA along with scanned copies of our passports.
I am not ware of us any requirement with us for it to be notarised?

Finally received the ARUBA OWNERSHIP TRANSFER AGREEMENT it is required to have it notarized.
