MVC Destinations Escapes

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the MVC Destinations Escape program? It looks like the points required to reserve 3, 4 or 7 night stays is considerably lower than the points required to reserve with the under 60 day Presidential level discount. Currently they have destinations listed through January, but we are looking for a 3 or 4 nights the first week or so of February. The dates we are looking at are within the 60 days, but nothing on the Escape list goes out into February. Does anyone know how often they update the list of resorts and dates available? Anyone know what the logic MVC uses to put resorts on the list? Is there a hook I'm missing, i.e. having to attend a presentation or something?

Appreciate any thoughts from people that have taken advantage of this program.

I have used them. No hook or anything., it is a regular points reservation just cheaper. You do have to call to book them vs being able to do it online. Great if you are flexible,
How I did my first trip to Kauai.

I have yet to figure out any logic to when something is on there or when they update.

The only logic is these are weeks they don't expect to get booked otherwise.

My understanding is that new inventory is added every Wednesday.

So it's not "everything under 60 days" like the sales person just told me when I directly asked that?

Definitely not everything under 60 days.

I contacted MVC and they indicated updates were made every Wednesday. When I asked to check for other resorts beside what was available for me to see on the web page, she checked other resorts, dates, etc and it appeared everything was the same I was seeing already posted.
