Multi-week reservation question

KOBC x6, Westin Kierland x2, and we went to the darkside and bought points!
Hoping you experts can help me.

Looking to book Ko Olina for 2026. We own several weeks there. We also own some points but not planning on using those here. When I booked a year ago it was no problem booking each week, one by one, except for mid-February 2025 as it sold out before I could reserve it. Was thinking to get ahead of the curve and book a bunch of weeks consecutively on one reservation. My understanding is I can do that 13 months out so could do it now. We are presidential if that matters.

Questions:

Can I split the lockoff online at the time of booking or do I have to call? This year we are taking friends some weeks and renting out the studio when no friends are there. Nice to have flexibility and the resort has been super easy to work with, in the past, in terms of keeping rooms together if we ask them to.

If I have one big reservation is it hard to break off a week if I later decide to rent it out?

I am not an expert so anything I am not thinking of that I should be asking!?

Thank you and happy 2025!

For 13-month weeks reservations you need to call. Can't do it online.

They are still individual reservations and you can lock off and string together several weeks, but you must be using weeks from multiple ownerships to do this at 13 months. Not just one week locked off for two consecutive reservations.

Thus with multiple reservations, you can still rent one or more if you need to as you have multiple reservation numbers.

I reserve at 13 months out from the first week routinely with locking off into smaller units. If you can do so now, I'd call in the AM and get it done. The first week in the string needs to be available to get started if doing so exactly at 13 months out.

I cannot figure out how to get my Shadow Ridge weeks at 13 months out. When do I need to try for President's week, so around 2/14 or 2/15? We own multiple weeks.

I did make a request online. Will that work? I never saw that option before.

I don't trust the online request process. I used it one year and they are not prioritized in any way. Calls will take priority and if you want a high demand week, then availability could be gone by the time they get around to looking at the requests.

You can use the online "When Can I Reserve" calculator to determine inventory release dates for Marriott weeks.

What are you reserving at 13 months out? I reserve a total of 20 weeks strung together so I'll call in Feb with the last reservation in July. You'll likely need to start with something you can reserve at least a week earlier if not 2 weeks to get that week I would suspect.

13-month reservations for Presidents Week 2026 at Shadow Ridge can be made beginning Monday, January 13, 2025.
I just called to ask and that was the date they gave me.

I was going to attempt to rent the weeks for 2026, 2 bedrooms, for my cost on the MF's. Could be a total waste of time.
