Suspension stayed, attorney placed on probation by Missouri Supreme Court
Missouri's high court stayed an attorney’s suspension, placing him on probation after misconduct involving fee sharing, trust account violations and timeshares.
wish it mentioned the company he worked for!
same old song and dance with every one of these schemes....but it wont ever end if this is the sort of penalty for ripping off timeshare owners! at this point its a license to print money.
The OCDC lists incidents of this fee sharing agreement and how it impacted Akers’ clients who paid thousands of dollars for his assistance in cancelling their timeshares, only for the money to be shared between himself, his employee and the third-party company.
