There are so many microfiber sheets in the stores now ("made from the coat of a freshly sheared polyester") and I need some new sheets for a guest room. I'm hesitant to get them, though; it seems to me that it'd be rather sticky/sweaty to sleep on polyester.

Thoughts?

We use them on the bed in the RV. They are stretchy and it's easier to make the bed. The feel of them sort of reminds me of jersey- like T-shirt material sheets. Perhaps a little warm, and never like cool, crisp percale, but OK. They wash well and don't wrinkle.

They go with the ottoman made with the hide of a virgin nauga.

I have extremely sensitive skin --- and they rub me the wrong way. After a few minutes, I feel like I am trying to sleep on a brillo pad. And what is weird about it is they LOOK soft.

I don't like them.

I don't care for micro-fiber linens. They feel a little off to me; not terrible, just not for me. I prefer 100% cotton. I also find bamboo sheets to be nice.

100% agree on all this, especially the bamboo sheets. Love those...
