It appears Travel and Leisure is seeking more subscription based models

Travel and Leisure is starting to publish more about their rebranding and subscription based plans
This includes Travel and Leisure Go (Which might be Travel Up or something like that) and emphasis on RCI Platinum membership

I am personally taking a "trust and verify" approach
I hope this is not yet another attempt at "over promising and underdelivering"
While I do personally enjoy Club Wyndham resorts, I tend to believe that the Wyndham brand lags far behind Hilton and Marriott
I am hope for more than save 10% a dinner or tour type options
"Use your points for other things", things that just do not make sense

It certainly doesn't work like other subscription models like Movie Pass or even subscription boxes. The subscription just gives you access to buy better stuff, perhaps at some marginal discount off retail. I suspect it won't price out all that much better than if you were to just do the legwork yourself finding discounts.

Here's the site for Club Travel + Leisure:

They have a 30-day free trial, but perusing the website to the extent I could without doing so lead me to believe that there wasn't much there that I couldn't already access elsewhere.

I like how the slideshow household penetration of several subscription services. Prime being #1. This isn't going to be anywhere close to this or even anywhere close to that or even close to Peloton at 4%. This isn't a subscription like you get with a subscription box or Netflix. You are effectively buying a discount card.

The article refers to both a free service entitled Travel & Leisure GO, link here: https://go.travelandleisure.com/?ut...ampaign=affiliate&utm_content=navplanyourtrip

There's also reference to a club membership entitled Club Travel & Leisure, link here: https://clubtravelandleisure.com/v6...8.1450663998.1633023263-1244939082.1633023263

As we suspected, the travel subscriptions are initially being branded under the T&L moniker. I suspect the TravelUp program is somehow related to this same service on the back end - given it is also subscription based, but that's just speculation on my part to be clear.

My concern is paying $9.95 a month or eventually $19.95 a month to get X% off retail, when we all know we can shop around and find X% and greater off retail without paying a subscription.

Noted previously in this thread if you want to combine them:
