Hi everyone,

I’m looking into purchasing multiple Getaway weeks at SVV in Orlando. I’m planning to stay between 6 to 8 weeks back to back has anyone done something similar?

Is there a maximum stay limit imposed by the resort when booking Getaway weeks back-to-back? I want to make sure I won’t run into any issues when trying to stay this long in a row.

Any experiences or advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

My recollection is that you can't book more than 21 nights on a single reservation, but that wouldn't apply since you are planning to book a bunch of back to back (separate) reservations and you're going to book through Interval (I assume, since you said Getaways.) If you're able to book them and they are for the same type of room, there shouldn't be a problem in staying in the same room, so long as the reservations don't overlap. You should get a full room cleaning after each full week.

I don't think there is a limit on the number of back to back Getaway weeks you can buy, but maybe somebody else will know for sure. I think each one is a separate Interval transaction and I don't think they track that you're stringing them together.

Thank you, you really helped me realize that each transaction is separate, so it shouldn’t pose an issue. I’m planning a long stay so just want to make sure everything goes smoothly!

You need to verify with Interval International.

The following is from II's Terms and Conditions (the screen capture below is from page 9 just above the Special Exchange Services section).

Here's an example of what could happen

Just make sure you read the pages before you confirm that reservation via II as that is where anything will be. I can't see anything in the info when I did a spot check, but that doesn't mean it won't appear at some point, so double check.

If you do find a restriction please post it here to alert people. There has been at least one occasion where a restriction was put in place and when II and MVC Customer Advocacy were challenged on it, it was removed, claiming it was an "Error"!!!

There used to be a note when making getaway reservations for some resorts that there was a limit of three concurrent reservations. I haven't seen that in a while. I am not aware of any limit on consecutive weeks.

The only issue you may run into is a need to move units depending on inventory and unit assignment. Though you can request to be in the same room your entire stay and they can usually accommodate.

You can reach out to Mark at Interval
