I have a big 30th wedding anniversary trip that I planned well over 2 years ago. I booked a 1BR Oceanfront at Maui Ocean Club for 9 nights starting October 10. So far it has not been cancelled but as a backup, I also reserved the 9 nights at the Aston Maui Banyan in Kihei. If MMOC cancels, I will get my 6025 points back. 5025 expire in December and the other 1000 will be in the 60 day holding account which is not great but it is better than some are getting (II certificate). I am really hoping that MMOC will be open and there are lots of signs that the west side is opening up but if not, has anyone stayed at the Aston Maui Banyan? There are no TUG reviews. I am not expecting MMOC level of grounds but hopefully a clean unit close to the beach with the ability to grill outside.

This will definitely not be Marriott quality, and it's not on the beach, but across the street. We own at Maui Hill in Kihei, which is a bit further south. We love it there.
