After all the searching and questions I posted here trying to find information about this resort, we did not get to go this year to my trade. (we got a contract on our house, after 10 months on the market, and figured we better start packing up). My son, his wife, 2 kids went in our place. When they arrived, they texted me back - it's OK - so I knew they were disappointed in first appearances. Grandson said "we drove this far so we might as well make the best of it" and I knew he was quoting a parent comment. But they did say that after the inital shock of not finding a Hilton they settled in and enjoyed it. Fished from the small marina and caught lots of snapper and enjoyed the pool. And of course as if this was not already a vacation under a dark cloud, the tropical storm dumped rain for 3 days. Bummer.
