I am new around here, and thought I would try to pay back for all the great info I have received so far.

I was talking to the general manager at Mountainside Villas at Massanutten and she gave me the website where their foreclosure notices goes up. The list also includes the foreclosures for the developer controlled sections of the resort (Woodstone, The Summit, etc.)

You can see it here www.candbsaleads.com

She said their next sale would be in March (I don't know if that applies to all the areas or just Mountainside)

I would think as a seller it would be beneficial to attend this meeting and speak with other potential bidders. The prices that the units will go for is likely higher at this auction than on Tug Marketplace or eBay.

As a buyer I would still wait for a unit to be posted on Tug or eBay because it is unlikely that there would be as much competition for the unit than at a resort-sponsored auction. Great link though.

Most of those weeks listed are less than prime weeks and prime float periods. I doubt all of them were sold at the time of the sale but as usual I could be wrong.

If you see something that interests you call the trustee and see it it's available. I doubt you'll see any of these on TUG as it's the HOAs that are trying to get rid of them and unless they are aware of what we do here they may just sit on those units until they sell.
