Is it just me? I got an email instructing me to use the app for mobile check in. The app is on my phone but it wants me to verify through an email message. This takes a long time to come and then the link doesn't work. Is this a known issue? Maybe an Android issue? I don't see any work around. And maybe it's just not worth the effort.

The links in the email are just to get you to download the app and are best accessed from email on your phone. Once you have the app on your phone, you just log in and can go to the reservations page to access the booking and go through mobile checkin. Whether it is worth the effort or not is questionable.

That would make sense except I get an error message when I click on the verification email. The activation error message tells me "This feature isn’t supported in the web browser. Continue on the same device where the mobile app is installed." Of course, I am on the same device and I have now given up.

You don't even need to click any links in the email. Just download the app and log in to the app.

Are you talking about the new(ish) 2 factor identification, where it is sending you a verification number via email?

I have the 2FA. Did the download. Got verified. Not sure how as I practically do verification's all day long for work and other personal apps. Long story short I am on the Android app as of 2 days ago.

It's similar to 2FA but it's making me do a verification email to activate the app for the first time. Except it doesn't work. I'm not a complete idiot and I follow instructions but this is somehow broken. Since it's not essential, I've given up. I have a lot to do before tackling the airport tomorrow. I only posted to see if others were running into the same roadblock.

Thanks to everyone to offered suggestions

I could never get the email verification to work, but text always does. It gets stuck in a weird loop, but if you go back to the app and click account, VOILA!, you are logged in.

I will try that but I don't think they gave me an option to use text. Thanks.
