Have not stayed there but in-laws have been. They go to Tortola every year in January-February. It is apparently a very well done resort and very high end. I was told that it was being sold as condo/villas, not as time share- don't know how they will reconcile some privately owned rooms with some owned by Marriott. I guess it has gone into receiver-ship so Marriott has swooped in and bought at a discount- I presume that they will take over unsold villas/condos and do management (for a fee $$$ for the ones already sold). It's very expensive to build down there and there are lots of rules and regs from the local governments that make things difficult (this is BVI's not US). Was built very quickly and timed exactly wrong for the economic down-turn.
