I am planning on sharing a 3 bedroom villa at the Marriott timeshare with friends. Does anyone know what the daily taxes are?
I normally stay in the 2 bedroom and I think we pay $12/day + $25 energy tax.

Is this a destination club reservation, an II exchange, II Getaway, or rental through Marriott.com or Marriott reward points?

The taxes are the same for owner weeks, destination club, II exchange, II getaway. Below is an excerpt from Marriott Aruba preference email.

"Government Taxes

Timeshare owners/exchangers will be charged a daily occupancy tax of:
Studio US $9.50
One bedroom US $10.28
Two bedroom and three bedroom US $11.88

In addition Timeshare owners/exchangers will be charged an Environmental Levy of:
Studio US $10 per STAY
One bedroom US $15 per STAY
Two bedroom and three bedroom US $25 per STAY"

Rentals/booking via marriott.com for cash stays are subject to the below which is included in the total room charges.

9.5% occupancy tax
Environmental Levy of US $3 per occupied room per night

Don't know about Marriott rewards points stays.

This is a rental I made through another Tugger.
Sounds like the fees will be the same as I pay for my 2 bedroom.

Thanks to everyone for your help.

For some reason my mind read it as Surfwatch and I was thinking that there shouldn't be any taxes for non marriott.com reservations but since the OP was expecting them I thought I would ask on the reservation method. Sorry.

I think it does make a difference though, at least for Marriott.com stays. For those, I think all of the taxes are included in the final rate. It would only be II, home resort or DC points stays that would have the added tax.
