Any advice on building or room selections. We have a 2 bedroom booked for two weeks: end of Oct and early Nov.

Oceanside, Oceanview, or Garden View. That will determine your options (and our recommendations).

Also there are 2 variants of 2 Bed units - internal and external (at either end of the buildings and a different layout, with 2 balconies and bedrooms at front and back of the unit rather than adjacent, which we found better)

I can't speak to St. Kitts but for MVC, Oceanside generally higher than Ocean View. Also, OV, OS, even OF doesn't guarantee view from all units in the category.

Oceanside is indeed a higher view category at the St Kitts MVC. Also, an interesting oddity of the resort is that there are no elevators in the MVC buildings and all the OV villas are on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
