Hi- could someone explain how to get our (presumed) account number? When we stayed at a Marriott in Seattle last year our reservation noted that we had some kind of reward status and I didn't follow up with a question about it at the desk which was about 10 deep in people checking in/ out, with questions the whole time. I'm guessing we might have such an account as owners of a Marriott ts unit. Any help appreciated....

If you are a Marriott ts owner, do you have a VacationClub signon? If so, you can logon and go to your account profile, and your Rewards account # should show, if it was established when you bougth your ts.

WE bought resale from a friend and don't know of a Marriott logon. Is it possible to get one? If so, does anyone know how?
Thanks
Anita
ps just discovered that members of the family love Marriott hotels and so I should look into this.

Keep in mind if you bought resale, you cannot trade your unit into Marriott rewards points, but you can most certainly use them! :)

Anyone can participate in Marriott Rewards but it might take a little longer to get anywhere than if you had a timeshare week to trade in. For instance, to get an air&hotel pkg valued at 250k points it would take you as many as 125 stays in a $200 a night Marriott. Those points would buy you a 7 night stay in a Category 6 Marriott and two economy air seats (with a little left over). Direct purchasers of a Marriott that has reasonable (?) maint/taxes can get 110k points EOY, equivalent to $11,000 spent in Marriotts (perhaps less). So the rewards aren't free but over time they do build up and you can get some fabulous trips as a result.
