marriott resale registration with MVC

i boughta Marriott shadow ridge and closed on it Friday before Labor day.
i have the deed. tHe state of california recgonizes my ownership. they are billing me for property taxes. I cannot get MVC to recognize my ownershp

Pls help me

What should I do
can I call a certain Marriott phone #?
can I fill out a certain form??
