Marriott Ocean Watch Unit Recommendation?

We will be heading to MOW for President's Day Week in February and have never stayed there before. Does anyone with ownership/experience there have any recommendations on unit/floor/bldg locations to request for our stay? Thanks.

You'll be happy with almost any unit

You will see/hear the ocean on the upper floors of any of the buildings.

I was just there a few weeks ago and would request any of the front three buildings simply to be closer to the ocean.

However, if the weather is bad, you may actually want to be in the back buildings near the indoor pool and work out center. Again, you "see" the ocean on the upper floors.

I skipped ours

My wife made the appointment... and I decided I just wasn't in the mood and couldn't take it. So we didn't go. My disappointment with Marriott is still running deep.
Still love the product-- but ... well you know.

I would ask for any of the back buildings, but ask for a higher floor. The back buildings are closer to the indoor pool and gym. In February you really aren't going to go on the beach often. If you do want to walk to the beach, even in the back, its not a terrible walk. Have a great time!

I think the corner units in the Woodsy villas have a better ocean view than the middle units. We stayed once in Feb and it was chilly and there was a cold breeze off the ocean. The back buildings (Woodsy villas) are more protected from the wind.
