Marriott Maui ocean club…what to do for a late flight?

Hello! We will be staying at Marriott Maui Ocean Club in November. When we have stayed at the Hyatt Residence Club next door, they had a whole special area we could use for the time between check out and our late departure flight. Doe the Marriott have the same sort of thing?

There is an area down by the laundry center you can use. Not much to it. Maybe that is not the only area you can hang out. It seemed rather isolated.

We stopped taking late flights for this very reason. We tend to take daytime flights and stay in a hotel, most likely Seattle when flying Alaska, or sometimes we fly into SFO and stay at the Hyatt in the airport. It's easy and inexpensive with Hyatt points. Flights can seem very long at night. I don't sleep well on late-night flights, and then I am sleepy all day after we arrive. I feel like I lose a full day and night, anyway.

Thanks for the info. I understand about the flight situation, but we weren’t able to do that sort of routing on American.

You can check your bags with the bell stand. Pack a small bag with your traveling clothes. Lay at the pool or beach all day (or any other activities), then use the hospitality suite to shower and change. Go to ABC for your souvenirs. Have a good dinner and head the airport.

I'm not sure how recently @davidvel has been there (and if it is recent I apologize) but I would definitely want to double check with the Marriott to be sure they are offering this. With so many of these resorts just recently opening up it's unclear what amenities are available.

Thanks for your responses. I did call and was told that there are two hospitality suites that have showers, and also a room one can use after checkout before late flights.
