Marriott Lockoff (Ko Olina) deposit issue in Interval

I recall a post sometime back about someone who deposited one side of a lock off, and then the place holder for the other side no longer showed up in their Interval account. Anyone have experience with this or recall the thread?

Does it every single year for my Harbor Lake deposit. I always have to call for the second half to be deposited.

So no solution to restore the placeholder without depositing? That is a real pain in the @$$. Especially if you see something and want to trade when they are closed.
 
Florida Club works good. When you deposit one side a new placeholder appears for the other. I don’t know if any other resorts work like this.

We always have to call to get a Supplemental Deposit made for the opposite side of our Harbour Lake week after depositing one side.
 
I had no problem depositing my 2 BR Harbour Lake as a 1BR and a Studio...although the II associate took about 10 minutes to complete the deposit transaction.
 
HL is the only one I've seen people report this issue. I suspect it's related to the fact it was initially only 2 BR units and the lock offs were added later.

Could be…we purchased Harbour Lake..then called Horizons from a sales trailer on site..it was a dedicated 2BR..we were very happy when Marriot decided to build lock off 2BR units…we were able to split the 2BR into a studio and 1 BR for 2 exchanges thru II…My 2 children..now adults,have great memories of vacationing at HL.
 
Its always Harbor Lake. Doesn't do it with my Florida Club weeks, or my Willow Ridge. But Harbor Lake does it every single year. You can only deposit one side or the other online and then you have to call to have the other one done. Makes no difference which one you do first either- I have tried it both ways.

No issue when done over the phone- just when you do it online. Once you deposit one half the other half doesn't show up.

No. The only way to do it is to call and have them make the deposit for you.

@davidvel, can you confirm that you're also talking about a Harbour Lake lock-off, like everyone else in this thread? I think editing the title to include the resort name will help but want to make sure it's an issue that affects only the one resort. Thanks!

No it is Ko Olina. Weird thing is when I tried to add to our legacy II account, they couldn't do it and had to set up a new account. It was very hokey. I'm wondering if they messed something up at the outset. We don't really plan to routinely trade both sides, but might this year.

That's weird, I hope they didn't mess you up in other areas. I wouldn't want to pay for 2 accounts or Platinum upgrades. Were any of the II accounts a corporate/free account?
 
So just spoke to Interval CS. They claim they talked to tech support who acknowledged it is a glitch. They have submitted a support ticket. We shall see. Hopefully my deposit doesn't disappear.

I have a corporate account, but originally tried to add it to our pre-DC legacy account, which they could not do. I only have this one paid account + corporate acct for our enrolled week.

So this was a previous personal paid account that was dormant?

Perhaps this is something that we should email Mark at II about to see if they can get the system setup to work like other resorts. Do owners at Canyon Villas have issues locking off and depositing both sides 100% online? That is another resort with mostly dedicated 2BR units and only a couple buildings with lock offs.
 
You may be been better to just create a whole new account?
Sorry to clarify:
- Originally tried to add to previous personal paid account that was dormant after switching enrolled Shadow Ridge to corporate account
- II could not add Ko Olina (MKO) to that account
- II set up brand new account with MKO in it
- This problem arose with MKO in brand new account

I'd reach out to Mark on this one.
