Hi,

I'm interested in reserving a 2 bedroom lock-off with 2 master suites at Lakeshore Reserve in Orlando. Would this be booked as a 2 bedroom deluxe, or is there another category for this type of villa?

Although the MVC website contains a floorplan for this type of unit, the Villa Amenities page says the 2-bedroom deluxe villa includes, "2 bedrooms 2 baths half Bath Townhome or 2 bedrooms 2 baths Lock Off" and doesn't mention a second master suite in the lock-off.

Primarily, I'm interesting in booking a lake-facing villa in either the Palermo or Messina buildings. Perhaps there's another category of villa for this type of view?

Thank you!

If you want a lake facing unit, those are the dedicated 2BR units. The 2BR deluxe are at the back of Messina and Palermo as well as townhouses.

Thanks for the information, Dioxide! I might spend fewer points and go for the lake-facing 2BR units then.

We stayed in one of these units last July in a corner unit overlooking the water slide pool from the 5th floor. The unit was huge. We had 4 teens that used the balcony of the second 1BR side as their hangout (which was terrific for them and me). The one thing that I did not care for was that it was an ADA modified unit. We had no idea this would be the case when we checked in. While the lower counter tops were not a huge issue, we didn't really enjoy the zero-entry master shower with plastic curtain. Small complaint for an overall great experience.

Quick question. I can't actually tell the difference between the dedicated 2 bedroom and the lockoff able 2 bedroom. Im not sure which is the better choice for travel with 4 young children. Can someone provide direction with this?

Lockoff has a king in the second bedroom and the dedicated has 2 full beds in the second bedroom. Also, the lockoff studio has the small kitchenette.

Are youy looking to trade in through II? If so, as mentioned, look at the unit description for the second bedroom. The dedicated as 2 queen beds.

We just returned last week and had the two bedroom lockoff that was excellent for my guest to have her own unit. There were two beds and a sofa in the room along with the small kitchen. She loved every minute of it.

Is it possible to tell the difference between the two bedroom deluxe and the 2 bedroom townhome? I am looking at using Abound points or an interval trade. Thanks

In II the room details should show two queen beds in the second bedroom for the townhome but then I don’t know how you would identify that from a 2BR dedicated flat. The 2BR deluxe lock off would have a king bed in each bedroom. I don’t know for sure how to tell for a Abound reservation.
