I don’t know if it’s still the case but the policy at MVC resorts used to be if you owned any MVC week, you were not charged for parking at any MVC resort - whether you traded in or not. I don’t know if that still holds true or not though.
They did not charge for my II exchange earlier this month.
As I recall they did want to charge me on a Bonvoy point stay a few years back, I played the DYKWIA card of Owner Status and Platinum Premier and they waived it.

Good idea. I don't think they charge for parking, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Marriott started doing it because so many of the resorts are charging now, and I have to say, Marriott is a superior product, so an exchange into a Marriott is a great exchange, wherever the resort is located. I might avoid all Orlando Marriott resorts, if they charged for parking, however. I will never visit a Hilton again for that very reason. $25 per day for parking? Not worth it to me.
