My family and I will be vacationing at The Marriott Grande Vista 19th March to 3rd April 2033 travelling from the UK. Three adults and two children 3 & 5. Is it possible to obtain Disney theme park tickets via the resort utilising any discounts, concessions or special offers. We can buy them online but we feel that we might be able to get a better deal either through Marriott or via a US provider. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Don’t forget you need a park reservation in addition to a ticket now. You might have problems getting in the parks you want if you wait until you arrive to make park reservations and buy tickets.

TRON opens the day after you leave

IMO you should make a call to Marriott and ask. It is possible you can prepurchase through them, or at least get advice on your visit. Know that you won't be the first to reach out to them. Newport Coast had Disneyland tickets available at the resort, but this was quite a while back. Disney has tightened up so much in the last couple of years, and of course, raised the ticket prices!

Disney tickets are very expensive these days. You may be able to find the occasional marginal discount but it won't be significant. I wouldn't wait till you get here to buy them as you need park reservations now and you cannot make a reservation until you have a linked ticket. That is peak Spring Break time so you may not get the park reservations for the days you want if you wait. Undercover Tourist is an online seller that provides a modest discount. Compare their prices to the Disney direct prices to get an idea.

You could likely very easily not get a ticket for your 3 year old. The policy is 2 and under is free, but they don't verify age. Easy to pass a 3 year old as 2 especially riding in a stroller at the gate.

Disney "discounts" are primarily for multi-day trips and are not much. A good place to buy tickets is Undercover Tourist . They cost the same BUT if you cancel you get almost all your money back. If you have Marriott "points" you can used them to get experience stuff...tickets, dinners, etc. I had 900 leftover points and got 300 dollars in "experience" money I used for Kennedy Space Center (family loved it...me too...best experience in Florida if you like space stuff). You can use for Disney also. Cheapest way to get tickets is go to a timeshare presentation and endure all that. Remember Disney now requires more planning as you need a ticket AND a reservation. They control admission this way.
The concierge at Grande Vista will sell you Disney tickets (same price as gate). We got (few years ago) Kennedy Space Center tickets there cheaper than gate (considerably cheaper). Right in the lobby.

Park reservations are completely open for ticket holders for those dates right now…as @jwalk03 pointed our - undercover tourist is probably your best bet…they used to ( not sure post COVID) have a UK website & or office…

The last time I bought tickets from MGV's concierge desk, it was for Universal. I didn't get tickets, I got vouchers for tickets and there was no discount. Then at Universal I had to wait in line for people with vouchers, which had just one window open and a bit of a line, whereas there were several windows open to buy tickets and the lines moved quickly. Someone in front of us had some issue and held up the line so it took forever to get into the park. I will never get my 'tickets' from MGV's concierge again.

Thank you guys for your response. Just to update you we managed to get the following deal which Marriot could not match and said that it must be a solely U.K. promotion. Thought you might like the details.

14 day ticket for the price of 7 £519 each ($622)
Access to Theme parks and water parks
Multiple parks per day (after 2pm)
Memory Maker included worth $199
Mini Golf, ESPN sports and more

The best that the resort could offer was a 5 day pass for $650.

It's been a few years since we went to Disney while staying at MGV, but at the time there was no discount and MGV charged an extra "convenience fee".
