I was there in March on an II exchange. No fee for parking. We are doing an II trade into the Marriott Grande Chateau (we are Marriott owners) & wondering if there's a fee for parking?
There is a lot of road construction near the MGC on both Harmon and Koval. There is a big Formula One project in the area too. Thanks for all the replies!
Do they still have a shuttle to WalMart? There is a lot of road construction near the MGC on both Harmon and Koval. There is a big Formula One project in the area too.
Before checking in I stopped at the Vons near the airport. It took me 30 minutes to get from there to MGC due to road construction and traffic. It’s about 2.5 miles.
I was there for a week in March and never used my car after checking in. Everything I wanted to do was in walking distance.
To their credit, there is no resort fee and no parking fee, which is unusual in Vegas these days. However, there is no self parking on site, just valet parking. If you are renting a car, check the contract to find out if a valet is allowed to park the car. If an unauthorized driver damages the car, your auto insurance likely won’t pay because they would consider you to be in violation of the contract. Reading through TripAdvisor reviews, we found that it might be difficult to get management to take responsibility for damage to a car by the valets. If you’re limiting your activities to the Strip, you won’t need a car anyway. We are doing an II trade into the Marriott Grande Chateau (we are Marriott owners) & wondering if there's a fee for parking?
Generally dings and scratches aren't found out until you return the car, so unless Valet has a major accident you should be fine. They won't be asking who was driving when it happened. Shoot, it could have happened while standing still in a parking lot. If valet does have a major accident, I think it would be hard for management not take responsibility. To their credit, there is no resort fee and no parking fee, which is unusual in Vegas these days. Yesterday I was behind an open-bed truck that had a sign on the back reading “Stay back 200 feet! Not responsible for glass breakage or other damage.” I laughed and thought, nice try…. but if you drop or kick up a rock that breaks my windshield, I’m pretty sure my insurance company will have a different view!Agree with this- If just putting up a sign and saying we are not responsible for anything worked than why would anyone ever need insurance?! Just put a sign everywhere.
