I recently stayed 4 nights on a Marriott Encore Package, but only received credit for a one night stay instead of four nights. I have called to get the additional three nights credited to my account, but have been told that I bought a marketing package and only one night is allowed per package. They said they cannot change the market code on the package. Is that everyone else’s experience?

Correct, I stayed 4 nights on a promotional package and 3 nights with points and received 4 nights stay towards my annual nights stays. 3 nights based on my MVCI points used and 1 for the promotional package.

I was under the impression that you didn't get points at all for an encore package. We didn't on our last one so may need to call and check

Points or nights stays? We received 1,000 Marriott Rewards points for the stay, and 4 night stays (3 for MVCI points and 1 for encore package).

We are 1 night stay short,,for stays. We are at 49 nights so would be excited to get that credit. Thank you. We will call today

I have never purchased or stayed at a MVCI resort on an encore package, and thought it would be like exchanging through Interval. With an Interval Exchange I get nights credit for seven nights. So, I only get a night credit for one night with an Encore package even though I stayed four nights? It doesn’t seem any different than an II Exchange to me.

It showed up as 4 nights under my Marriott Rewards account before my stay, though.

I am surprised you get any nights at all. I understand for years that Encore Packages earned zero elite night credit. This one night seems to be new?

But it is different. They have always been different and have never earned elite night credit. No nights, points only on incidentals.

i called the encore package phone number and they said one night. So, guess that is correct.
