I just picked up a Villas I Silver week for what I think was a good price. My question is for the owners of Silver weeks, how do they trade in Interval ??

Hopefully you are aware of the 100-115 degree temperatures during July and August? Look in II's book and see their desireability.

I just picked up a [Desert Spring] Villas I Silver week ....

Ok.... another newbie question: Does this "silver" reference equate to the "Blue" season as shown on the Marriott calendar for this resort? Thx.

According to Marriott calendar and season reference.

So did you pick up the Silver week on Ebay for $2500? Still a great deal!

I wonder if either Gold or Silver will pick up an AC?

That's true but the shoulder season is very nice plus you have Thanksgiving and Memorial day, I believe. They trade very well from what I have read here.

Our friends go every year in June and November and the weather seems to be OK. I have never heard them complain and they have no difficulites making their reservations either unless you want to go during Thanksgiving week. This is not the same story during the platinum season as so many people seem to compete for the most desirable weeks.
