Marriott Cancellation Replacement Weeks

I have seen this topic discussed recently a few times, but still don't have a confirmation. I'll eventually call II to find out, but figured that I'd check with my friends on TUG first.

Do Marriott cancellation replacement weeks retain the Marriott internal trading priority?

are you talking about getting a replacement week for cancelling a regular weeks exchange or one of the new adjusted cancellation policy weeks?

4 or 5 years ago before my week was enrolled I cancelled an MVC exchange more than 24 hrs after I confirmed it and got a replacement week. As I remember it was good for one year and I could request with and I lost believe it did have Marriott priority.

I talked to II yesterday. I was told replacement week keeps Marriott priority . Hope she was right.

That's great news. The biggest advantage is that you can do a new ongoing search.
