Decided to use MVC AP points for a 3 nights stay in Bali Indonesia. Burnt 1,555 VC points on 1 Bedroom Apartment since it was during the Easter Break holidays. Welcome drink was served upon check-in and was led to the room located on the ground floor, right next to the swimming pool. This is the first time I saw a vacation club property connected to a Marriott International Brand Property: Courtyard by Marriott.
Room features: The 1 bedroom is big enough for 4 Occupants, with the sofa in the living room being to convert into a bed, and the staff is able to arrange the necessary bed linen. Only 1 bedroom and 2 bedrooms apartment will have the full kitchen and washing machines features. One thing I particularly liked was that this property uses Aromatherapy brand shower amenity kits!
Facilities: Superb! 2 swimming pools- one in the VC and the other at Courtyard Marriott, which looks like a pool within a tropical forest/swamp. There's a kids club and daily activities to keep everyone engaged and entertained. There's a shuttle bus with about half an hour interval for guests to commute to the private beach at Nusa Dua. Dining Options are adequate, food was above average, but not till I could recall any that was particularly delicious.
