Maybe this is just me or possibly this might help others out. If you read the instructions on how to start a BBQ at the Grande Vista in Orlando, and the follow the instructions to a tee (see pic 1), the units will never light up . Per pic #2, this is the way that you emergency stop the flow of gas to the units......presumably this is in the event that something gets out of hand. What no one tells you nor is it posted anywhere, the RED button needs to be pulled out to ensure that following the instructions, per pic 1, will actually lead to success. I did mention this to one of the maintenance workers who led me to the discovery. Just a helpful hint......

Ran into the same problem in January this year until I looked over at the emergency stop button and noticed it was depressed. Pulled it and got it going.

There should be an asterisk on #5 stating (* by making sure emergency stop button is not depressed and timer is on if applicable.) I've never seen an actual main gas line valve accessible to guests at an MVC BBQ, though I have seen gas line timers.

I think it was at Ko'Olina where I had a similar problem that none of the grills would light. Turned out there is a shutoff valve mounted on the side of the building, away from the grill area. The maintenance people had closed this when cleaning the grills, but that day had forgotten to open it back up. The valve was accessible for anyone with desire & awareness to open or close it.

The grills at Grande Vista were all nice and clean and I believe it stems from the fact no one can understand how to light them. Other than myself I never saw anyone using them.
