Our MSE unit just passed Marriott's ROFR at $11k today, we are very
excited to own at the Manor Club and look forward to the wonderful
world of timesharing. Thanks to everyone on this board, we almost
bought from the developer at twice this amount. It was a long 18 days
but Marriott finally waived their ROFR. So now we have to wait until
closing is wrapped up so we can book our week next year, does anyone
know of any prime weeks down in Williamsburg that we can reserve
that may still be available? I'm assuming that a majority of the summer
is gone already, but are there any good times in the fall down there?
I think I read somewhere on here where the ROFR prices are recorded,
if anyone can shoot me the link I would be glad to update it.

Wow! 11k. I'm assuming this is a 2BR lockoff Platinum, correct?

Great deal and enjoy. I'm still waiting for my deed to go through at MSE. I'm so excited.

Congratulations! Do you remember how much is the developer price for a platinum EOY at MSE? I've been looking out for a resale but so far no luck.

I could've saved $900

I just got my deed for my platinum Manor Club Sequel week which was paid for, and ROFRed, this summer at $11,900. You beat me. Congratulations. :cheer:

I dont think they have EOY, I have been looking for that also and cant find one.

Congratulations! A number of units were waived in the past 2 weeks. Francisco (Marriott ROFR contact) was traveling to many of the West Coast Marriotts and I think the department got overwelmed. There were many units that were waived at figures $2,000 and $3,000 less than typically would have been waived at.

I am looking to buy, did you use a realtor? If so who? I've never bought a resale timeshare before and it seems to me that there are alot of things that could go wrong. What do you think?

Dave

Marriott resales was closed this week for training. Most of the brokers believe that they were using this week to catch up on Right of First Refusal. Only time will tell.

Rumor has it that Francisco (Marriott ROFR contact) is getting promoted and he has been doing a lot of traveling and training his replacement, just a rumor though....
