Looking for suggestions for best things to do for first timers. Going to Son Antem late April/early May. Thought I saw a post a while back about some kind of festival in a town the 1st weekend in May but can’t find it. Will have a car. 4 seniors. Thanks!

I am not sure which specific festival this might be, but all over the island there are festivals in every month of the year
 
May should be perfect, cooler weather and fewer crowds. We went in July and it was HOT. If you golf you will like the location but its somewhat isolated and not close to ocean views. Definitely drive over to Soller for a day, the drive is beautiful as is the entire area. Sant elm is also worth a day trip. If you are a lover of wine, tour Vi Rei wineries. Enjoy!

if you are good at walking, the walk along the seafront from El Molinar to Palma is very nice. Usually you can park in Carrer del Golf de Cadis.

The fair you are referring to is in Sineu on the first weekend in May. It returned this year after a couple years off. We went in 2019 and it was great. It covers the whole village. You walk the streets and there are vendors everywhere and a huge agricultural fair in the center. https://www.majorcadailybulletin.co...sineu-may-fair-returning-after-two-years.html

If you are cyclists, there are many great bike rides around the island.
Rick Steves' Spain book will have a lot of additional information on the many villages.

There are several Michelin Star restaurants in and around Palma. We went to Adrian Quetglas with a party of 16 people and it was amazing: https://adrianquetglas.es/en/
