Does anyone know anything about this timeshare? All of the reviews are quite old and I am trying to make a decision if I should take this one or wait for something else to come along? It is available for the exact date that I want for next year and I'm hesitant about letting it go. Help!
 
We stayed there pre-Katrina and were happy with the room and location. Out of the Quarter and free street parking for our car. But that was pre-Katrina.

I've gone to MPL twice since Katrina. The first time (Oct 2006) I was told Katrina relief workers were staying there although the lobby looked pretty thrashed. The second time (Mar 2008) I believe they were still closed although more staff and carpenters were on-site.

I suggest calling MPL for an update on their post-Katrina refurbishing status.
