West Club is 30.7 cents per point, making it a very expensive option to book anything with Shell points.

Just out of curiosity, How many shell points does it take to book a 2BR at Vino Bello in Napa.

So the answer is 6700-9050 for a full week at Vino Bello. You can do weekdays cheaper. But .31 per point makes for a very expensive vacation.

Peacock Suites 2 bedrooms are 3,900 points for high season, 2,500 high season for the one bedrooms. That is the bargain, the one bedrooms for 2,500 points for a full week. No kitchen, really, just a microwave and under-counter refrigerator.

Shell sent an update report on all of the resorts in the West Club which now includes all mainland resorts. There was no info on Little Sweden, and I have to assume Little Sweden is no longer part of Shell, just maybe part of Wyndham because I cannot find any inventory at all. I used to be able to get anything in September. So disappointing. I loved the ability of getting Little Sweden.

Thanks, I just stayed at Vino Bello a few weeks ago for 3 nights using Wyndham points I had in RCI. The few points in RCI would have expired unused. So when I saw 3 nights in Vino Bello pop up in RCI, I grabbed it. Also, Napa is only 40 min. from where I live. I figure that was 3 nights for the $129 exchange fee.
Vino Bello is also expensive in the Wyndham system. With shell points 9050 x .31 = $2805.50. With 2024 Wyndham CWA maintenance fee 362k x 8.37 = 3029.94. Obviously if you have a Wyndham timeshare that with MF under $6 it would be considerably cheaper. I also have a small number of points in one of those. Which I bought on the resale market 10 years ago to average out the higher CWA.

My points are $5.85 per 1,000 averaged together, and that includes the program fee. Wyndham won't let us deed back even our Shell, so we are stuck with Shell for now. I would give it away, but I can get my maintenance fees back by renting, and there is no rule against renting with Shell. I make $0 money on it, which drives me crazy.

Wyndham not allowing us to use the certified exit for our Shell points is pretty vindictive toward individual owners. You wouldn't think a big corporation like Wyndham would want to be vindictive against an owner. It's a bizarre behavior for a company as big as Wyndham. Petty behavior.

But of course some of you will defend Wyndham for this stand against some owners.
