Maintenance Fee due Date

Is there a grace period for maintenance fees or are they due the last day of the year? I want to pay mine on January 1 to get the credit card benefits.

Each resort has a different "late by" date, but a number of them are 45 days after the "due date," i.e. Feb. 15. Check your resort, but they definitely do not have to be paid by the end of the year. We make a final payment in late January each year and it's fine.

The OP shows as owning at Elara. I also own there, and checked my statement; they have a 45-day grace period, so you can easily wait until 2026 to pay your bill. I plan to wait until 2026 to pay both of my HGV MF to earn credit card benefits.
 
We pay the Amex credit amounts before January 1st and then the rest of the bill later in January to get both the Q4 and Q1 credits

Exactly our approach, in general. Although we stayed at Kings Land in November, so that took are of P2's H2 Aspire credit. We have my H2 for later this month and then both H1 for later in January.

Yes, I don't use the online service for CL because you won't get rewards points and will need to pay service fees.

Be sure you get the 14xHH points for the purchase on Aspire. Don't say its for maintenance fees. Just a spend at HGVC CL.

I only got 3x :-(
Hope others are getting 14x & if so, would appreciate if folks may share screenshots of those (deleting any personal info, of course), so I can reach out to AmEx to fix the 3x to 14x for my CL spend.

I also only got 3x and no aspire credit for Craig Lodge. I will be calling them later to try to get both changed. I know that when I purchased the contract earlier this year, I was able to get both 14x and 1st half Aspire credit.

Look in your HH account and see if you received a 11x bonus for the spend. Also, I would use the chat for Amex instead of calling, it seems to work the best.
