Maggie Valley, NC Restaurant Recommendations?

Please send me recommendations for restaurants in the Maggie Valley area -- we aren't looking for "fine" dining -- just good food!

we were there in 1999. i remember it being a bit isolated. we did eat a nice lunch in the clubhouse. can't remember too much more.

J. Arthur's would be a very good choice. Also Snappy's Italian, Frankie's Italian or Salty Dog Seafood and Grill aren't bad choices. Joey's Pancake house is a good option for breakfast. There are several other options in Waynesville which is 10-15 minutes away. I live in the Maggie Valley area so let me know if you have any other questions.

There is a very good breakfast place called Joeys Pancakes on the main drag. They have a special with blueberry blitz and strawberry in season. I hear the one across from Joeys is OK. J Arthurs I hear is good but very pricey. New Italian called Frankies is Ok. My brother lives there so I got all these recommendations from him except for Joeys because it is my favorite. If you go into Waynesville Grannys Chicken is very good but be prepared it looks like a DIVE.Fried chicken is their specialty. In Downtown Waynesville there is a cute good quaint coffee shop on Frog Level They have a great Salty Caramel Latte. There are a lot of unique shopping touristy shops downtown if you have not been to them. I have been to the Italian one downtown and it was pretty good but I do not remember the name. Have Fun!

Thanks for the recommendations. We've been here before a couple of times, but we always love to try different restaurants!
It's so beautiful here. This morning, I'm sitting on the porch and the temp is 68. Wonderful.
