Macys Thanksgiving Parade

I would like to be at the Macys Thanksgiving Parade next year! It’s been a wish of mine for many years! My timeshare points are mostly used for our family vacation. I have a small Coral Sands resort but that won’t get me there! Any experience and advice would be appreciated!

HGVC Kings Land, Elara, and Marriott Destination Club Points
I do know that both HGV and Marriott have timeshare locations in NYC. HGV has two locations, W57 and The Quin that are located on the parade route, and a number of people have posted pictures of the parade from their rooms in the HGV forum. However I am guessing Thanksgiving is a popular time, so it would probably be hard to exchange or trade into those locations.

There may be other timeshares in the city. Does your Coral Sands work with any of the exchange networks like RCI or Interval?

Otherwise your probably best bet maybe to look at hotels...
