Seems silly that they limit where you can use it to or from. Seems almost like an Amex coupon book play.
Agree, but I think that goes back to why the Lyft credit is a perk in the first place. There used to be an Elite Premier perk that provided car service from the airport to the HGV property every time you stayed. I think they decided that was too expensive, and to cut costs they replaced it with a Lyft credit, but put in the geo limits so their PR could spin it to make us think it is the same benefit.

With the geo limits, it allows you to travel between any two locations, including between two HGV locations (doesn't have to include an airport). Is there a HGV location near the lower East side where you were? With all the new properties from the integration with Diamond and Bluegreen, I'm not sure.
It was never all of them but instead a list of resorts. There are none in the lower East side and it isn’t near enough to any. Also, the geo limits don’t show up in the Lyft app for me like they did last year.
Well, I had never found a resort where it didn't work, but I've only used it in a few locations. I'm not in Max so I don't know of all the additional resorts, so I was just checking. I'll be in NYC in March, so I guess I'll see if the geo limits are working then.
There’s a spot in the Lyft app for the credit under payments. When you go to that, it has an entry that reads “Your pass will automatically apply if your ride meets the criteria listed here.” Last year there were geographical constraints provided that covered the airports and resorts on a map. This year there’s nothing, so it applies to all my rides. Not sure if it’s set up the same for others.

Really? No … the ride was only $27 but I tipped $223 cuz the driver was hot. JK. I tipped $3.
