Thought I'd start a thread on foodie places under $40. that you don't want to miss.
Remember Chef Vic Vegas from Top Chef? Well, he just opened a restaurant and catering operation called Vic's in Sun City Anthem. It has one of the best views of the valley. You can read about it here, on the Eater Vegas website. It's Vic's menu, but he's the executive chef. Jason Tepper is the working chef and he used to work at the restaurant at Spanish Trails. The Facebook link is not working. I can probably come up to a link to some menus if I look around, but it has only been open three or four days.
Angelo Sousa, another Top Chef alum recently opened Poppy Den in Summerlin. It is an Asian Gastropub.
I haven't eaten in either place, but if you are a foodie but allergic to $200+ meals, or want to try good food at reasonable prices, you might want to try these.
Ad then of course there is always my foodie fave off strip place, Todds Unique. If you have a car while visiting, this is a "Not to be missed restaurant." A hidden gem, to be sure.
