LTBRA: status, membership, etc.

Older threads refer to the Licensed Timeshare Resale Brokers Association. It continues to exist and has a directory of individual members; however, whereas these earlier threads suggested that some broker companies (as opposed to individuals) were members, it appears now to only have individual brokers as members.

• Can someone knowledgable comment on the current status of the LTRBA?
• Are broker companies members, or only individual brokers? If broker companies can be members, is there a directory of members that I've missed?
• Should broker (individual or company) membership in this organization be considered an important recommendation? A minor recommendation? As valuable as the promises of a timeshare sales associate at a resort?

the LTRBA was simply a collection of licensed brokers that did not charge upfront fees and instead only worked on commission.
