Hello, I am looking to rent a timeshare, I found a posting on my resort network, filled out a reach out form. I was contacted by Nick from Worldwide Vacation Rentals. Nick gave me prices and sent me an invoice to be payed through Venmo. I am just a little skeptical, I have to pay the full amount up front.

Has anyone used rented through this company before? need advice before I pay.

If that company is from "Beverly Hills", stay away. They are known to take money for reservations that do not exist, and then try and find a rental, often at a last minute at a high discount to maximize their profit. Sometimes they are unable to find anything, refund your money, and you end up without a reservation.

Always independently verify that the reservation actually exists before sending any money.

Yup, they sure are from beverly hills. I asked for a copy of the original reservation confirmation and have not heard back from them. I guess I will stay away and be safe.

This guy “Nick” from worldwide vacation rentals has a bunch of rentals on Tug marketplace and i contacted him about a maui rental. After his response i searched for info here on Tug and found your warning. He claims it’s impossible to provide any confirmation for the week I’m interested in for privacy concerns and claims no one has ever not received the week after paying. He also says if anyone says otherwise he will have Brian from Tug remove their comments. His texts are funny, way too many words and super repetitive.

I find them to be annoying to deal with. I blocked them and no longer receive their emails and calls when then want to rent something I have.

Is this the same person that was posting over here?

Don’t think so, this guy says his name is Nick. NIck claimed he was going to contact Brian and have any negative mention of his business removed. 🤪
