looking to buy Ko Olina

I have never purchased a time share and would appreciate some suggestions on buying a time share in the Marriott Ko Olina beach club property.

My wife and I stayed a week in 2010 and loved it. Want to have a place for our kids and grandkids to enjoy for years to come.

Any idea what I might pay for 2BR 2 Bth lockout oceanview annual or every even year.

Does marriott penalyze you in any way for not purchasing through them?

If you post it on Marriott Forum, many Marriott owners will help you.
I don't know about price of an ocean view, but there was a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom lock-off unit (view was not mentioned) on ebay a few days ago. Start bidding was $5995 and didn't get any bidding on it.

If you want a true low price, try ebay.
If you are a beginner and not comfortable buying a timeshare on ebay, contact reputable brokers.
